Your Dog Sledding Adventure Begins 

 

        take a moment to breath the fresh crisp air and then feel the excitment as you stand on the runners of the dogsled. the ground covered in fresh snow the trees sleeping in winters slumber. The guide begin to hook up your dogs to the sled and then that is when it happens the excitment brews  the tension growing as the dogs begin to tug at line and yell with excitment eagar to race the ground.

with every pull you are closer to your journey your adventure your experience. your heart begins to beat faster your body feels a bit of fear.

  then you hear "lets go" and with that your fear fades and your team pulls one last time and your sled breaks free and then the only sound  you hear is that of the sled racing along the glistening snow the breathing of the dogs and the thrill of the trail.

you are stepping in the foot steps of your ancestors you feel the trail and see it through new eyes, the eyes of a musher.

hour tour- $90.00 per person

         Spend a full hour along the boreal trail driving your own team of huskies follow the  path of our guides and experience what few get the oppertunity to do. The only thing you may be wanting more!This tour is the most booked as it is long enough to have a small adventure but still short enough to enjoy it in any weather and with small children


 

2 hour tour-$170.00 per person

 Start with a ful instruction of the adventure meet your team and gather your gear travel along trails and enjoyt the quiet of nature and watch for the loacl wildlife you may see a deer or moose or wolf. then stop for a quick break and take a moment to pet the dogs take pictures and enjoy a warm drink with friends. then jump back on the sled and take the journey home again.

 


 

Mushing 101- $100.00 per person (min 4 people)

 Thi s is a course set up for groups of 4-15 people. you will have a full day at the kennel. the first part of the coures with take you through the history of dogsledding and explain the steps dogsledding has taken to be where it is today learn about the gear and equipment and the typs of dogs and commands and then after uch put your learning to the test hook up your own dog take them our and hook down and learn how to advance your self to a team

 


 

Group functions $100.00 per person (min 6 people)

 this is for groups og 6 or more, we accomidate up to 15 due to limited indoor space we do not recommend more than 15 but have hosted groups of 20 people. very close to the mushing 101, this is a fun day at the kennel a nice fire outside and a small warming shack we provide coffee tea and snack your group can bring their own lunches (most like to roast hot dogs and smokies over the fire). and enjoy many short trips on the dog sled learn to drive, this is very hands on you help hook up the dogs harnness and learn to drive while others can sit a visit by athe fire.this is just a fun day playing with the dogs, go for rides and enjoying the company of your friends.

 Our kennel will be happy to provide tours for the general public for your festival. De pending on the size of the festival and we can provided many options

Demonstrations-
one small friendly team can be brought and hooked up for photo oppertunities with kids and family and facts and questions


Rides-
This is provided for the general public a few smaller teams can be arranged to take mulitple people for short but fun rides


School demonstrations and mushing course-
this is a neat way for the kids to get involved with the dogs learn a bit of dog sledding history and get hands on with the dogs.

 


 

Lead dog Training $120.00

 This course is one set up to learn how to train your own dog how to sled and lead a team. note not all dogs are suited or have the confidence to lead, we will teach you commands show you how to correct bad behavior as well and go through all the equipment you will need to sled skijour and bikejour.
this is a course that involves alot of walking it can be taken during fall summer and winter seasons, the course is 3-2 hour sessions booked during the week. if you want more information please contact the kennel
